There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
Keanu Ellen a 5th grader and Tristen Ellen a 3rd grader have been given the title of Ambassadors For kindness for helping to make the world a better place. Now you too can create your own Pass it Forward program based upon your "gift" or a specific "Pass it Forward Moment that happened in your past." For more information, go to www.passforward.org.
TKO’s founding members Keanu and Tristen Ellen launched their Kindness on the Go Project, an initiative to encourage kids of all ages to turn kindness on in their communities.
The project, which allows kids to perform a random act of kindness and then tag someone else to do the same, works in the following way:
Step 1 Perform a random act of kindness.
Step 2 Fill out the first available page in the Kindness on the Go booklet, telling us how you turned kindness on in your community (you can also share an act of kindness that someone else did for you!) And don’t forget to decorate your page!
Step 3 Mail the instruction sheet and Kindness on the Go booklet to someone you trust, someone who can complete a random act of kindness in their own community!
Step 4 Visit www.tkohelpinghands.org/kindness and register to win a $50 gift card, awarded to one random project participant each month
The Pass It Forward Movement embraces all creeds, religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of the movement.
