Today I updated my facebook status with a couple sentences that expressed how I'm feeling today. It went like this- "When I give from a space of love, I'm in the same frequency that's open to receiving love & everything else that aligns with those high vibrations- joy, excitement, abundance, etc. Whether I'm giving or receiving, I'm vibrating love, joy, abundance, etc. & the Universe always responds by sending more people/ places/ things that keep me feeling this way! Gotta love the L.O.A!!! =)"
A facebook friend of mine responded with, "Leija, I totally agree, but what do you do when you have bills to pay and find it hard to stay in that positive frequency?" So I answered her in little stream of consciousness manner (the way I normally do) and thought I would share it on the ol' blogger, since I haven't blogged in a while.
So to answer this question, whenever I find myself stressing about how I'm going to pay my bills, and find myself getting into that silly scarcity thinking, I'll usually have enough sense to head outside and take a little walk in Mother Nature, who instantly wakes me up. Yup! Nature for me is my first step. Out in nature, I'm able to think clearly and shift my focus. I'll consciously say to myself, "Ok, cancel those self-defeating thoughts." And I'll replace them with something like, "I live in a world with infinite abundance. I am worthy of manifesting anything I desire because I am essentially a part of this infinite abundance." I remind myself that I'm here on this planet to share my love and light with the world and that the Universe wants me to see me do this! So why wouldn't I be able to meet my material needs? Isn't that the least the Universe can do? I am ALREADY infinitely abundant- the Universe knows this, I know this, and all I have to do is stop listening to my fear (false evidence appearing real) and allow abundance to flow into my life. :)
Humans have all been ridiculously conditioned on this planet to think in lack, to think that they're never good enough, that they aren't worthy of receiving what they need. I'm aware of this, which is why whenever I have a limiting or self-defeating thought, I'll simply remind myself of the fact that my mind was simply running old programs that are contain completely false information. I find the more I stop myself in the middle of a negative thought, and CHOOSE to replace it with a positive one, the less I have those negative thoughts and the more the positive thoughts seem to pop up. Anyway...
Back to the being infinitely abundant! I know, without the help of my fears, that I am already infinitely abundant. I am essentially a creator god, just like you! All I have to do is allow the abundance that is within and around me to flow into my life! One of the easiest ways for me to do this is to ask myself and the Universe, "How can I help others?" Once I make that my number one intention, I feel as if a huge burden has been lifted. I can breathe. I begin to feel like myself again. Then, what automatically happens is that the Universe, quite often *very* sychronistically presents me with opportunities to help people. Even by helping one person, I go from, "Sh**, how am I going to pay my bills? Why is life so hard?" to "I am so blessed to have a healthy body, friends and family that love me and so many other gifts that help others! I have so much to give! And whenever I give I feel fantastic! I feel worthy! I feel like I have real purpose for being here! I feel like I'm having such a positive impact on so many! Wow! It just feels so good!"
Then, the Universe always responds by sending more people/ places/ things that support this positive-feeling vibration!
Something else to keep in mind, when you're giving, is to ask yourself if you're giving with the intention of giving LOVE, unconditionally. If you're giving with the intention of wanting something back and you're too fixated on getting something back in return, you're not in the vibration of unconditional love. Stay centred in the vibration of unconditional love and you will receive everything that aligns with this vibration and all your needs WILL be met!!!
I could definitely talk more on this topic, but this should suffice for today!
I'm off to give unconditional love to others and help people heal! Yippeee!
