There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
Love books? Are your books falling out of your bookcases? Are there boxes of your books in your garage? In your closets? In your attic? In the trunks of your cars? The Pass It Forward Book Exchange has a solution for your avalanche of used books... "Pass It Forward." Businesses are setting up tables in their lobbies and break rooms and encouraging employees and customers to bring in their used books and put them on the "Pass It Forward" tables.
Anyone who visits the tables can take books... yes, for free. The idea is that once you take a book, and read it, you pass it forward to the next person. The PIF Book Exchange has created a bookplate so that donors and readers can print their name on the book flyleaf and readers can see who has read the book before them. This is just a fun idea. Every WTW volunteer will be able to highlight their program on this website just as I did. Now you can create your own Pass it Forward nonprofit program based upon your gift (everyone has a gift!) or a specific "Pass it Forward Moment that happened in your past."
The “ The Pass it Forward Movement” embraces all creeds, religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of the movement.
