There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
The Tarzana Community & Cultural Center (TCCC) is located at 19130 Ventura Blvd, in Tarzana, California. Our center is helping the nonprofits in the Los Angeles vicinity raise money for their cause by having their fundraising event at our center at no charge. In lieu of an upfront fee for our 501 (c) (3) nonprofit center, the TCCC will take a reasonable percentage of the money raised. We hope to set precedence for other community and cultural centers to do the same for the surrounding schools and nonprofits in their area.
We also encourage the residents and nonprofits in the area to use this beautiful 1 acre facility for pass it forward (PIF) meetings and events. In a PIF meeting/event, the facilitator aka PIF Mentor will help create an event that is acceptable to 100% of the people. The Pass It Forward Movement embraces all religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of this movement.
PIF and I are now networking with people and organizations that also want to help others. Additionally PIF gave me the opportunity to be a mentor myself, and now I also have online mentors to help me achieve my goals.
Every entity, non-profit, business, school, organization, and individual can be part of this movement. Together, we can all unite and collaborate as just one voice to “pass it forward” and make the world a gentler, kinder place.
