Children's Literacy Making A Difference
Help other like minded people get what they want
With Character And Compassion

There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
Duncan McDougall left his successful career as a management consultant in Boston to start the Children's Literacy Foundation (CLiF). This fast-growing nonprofit has helped inspire 75,000 rural and at-risk young readers and writers across New Hampshire and Vermont. Duncan's move to the nonprofit sector serves as a model for the way business people can fulfill President Obama's call to action.
Over the past 11 years CLiF has provided free literacy programs and new books to young readers and writers in homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, low-income housing developments, prisons, jails, bookmobiles, refugee programs, summer food programs, childcare centers, rural public libraries, rural elementary schools, towns undergoing economic challenges, Head Start programs, food shelves, and camps for migrant children. CLiF serves more than 13,000 children each year in every corner of New Hampshire and Vermont.
Every WTW volunteer for the Pass It Forward Movement will be able to highlight their program on the A United World Website www.aunitedworld.org just as Duncan has. Now you too can create your own Pass it Forward program based upon a specific "Pass it Forward Moment that happened in your past."
The “The Pass it Forward Movement” embraces all creeds, religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of the movement.
Every entity, non-profit, business, school, organization, and individual can be part of this movement. Together, we can all unite and collaborate as just one voice to “pass it forward” and make the world a gentler, kinder place.
