Help other like minded people get what they want
With Character And Compassion
There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
Free Printables:FreePrintable.net offers thousands of printable documents and templetes.
Pick Wild Flowers: If flowers are wild, they’re free. Pick a bunch and leave them on a friend’s porch.
Send an E-Card: Visit sites like 123Greetings.com or BlueMountain.com to send a friend, family member or co-worker a thoughtful e-card.
Share Coupons: Tuquyen Mach, reporter at WSAV in Savannah tells me she gives away coupons that she doesn’t need. That way her friends can cash in on good deals, too.
Make a Mix CD: Mix tapes aren’t just for your high school sweetheart. Have a friend going on a road trip or that suffers through a long commute? Help them enjoy the journey with a mix CD.
Mow Your Neighbor’s Yard: You’re already cutting your own grass, why not mow your neighbor’s lawn, too? The same applies with raking, shoveling or sweeping.
Send a Stranger a Note: Pull out your phone book. Close your eyes. Point to a name. Write them a sweet note. Send it off and think about how cool it would be to receive good mail like that once in a while.
Donate Freebies: Every week big drug store chains offer freebies like soap, shaving cream, or toothpaste. Snatch them up, but rather than hoard them in your closet, donate them to a local shelter.
Take Your Pet Places: Have a well-behaved pooch? Animals have a great capacity for making people happy. Take your furry family member to a local nursing home, after school program or program for disabled people.
Offer to Babysit: Know a parent that needs some time away? Offer your babysitting services free of charge.
Do Someone Else’s Chore: Does your husband always make the bed? Is it your wife’s job to fold the laundry? Take over their to-do list unexpectedly.
Acknowledge Great Service: Often we are quick to complain when service stinks, but slow to reward good work. Write notes to managers at stores where service was good. Make sure to specifically name great employees.
Spread Chalk Love: Get out your sidewalk chalk and spread the love. Write nice notes on public sidewalks and street corners. Try inspiring others with the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
Every WTW volunteer for the Pass It Forward Movement will be able to highlight their program on this website! The “The Pass it Forward Movement” embraces all creeds, religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of the movement.
Every entity, non-profit, business, school, organization, and individual can be part of this movement. Together, we can all unite and collaborate as just one voice to “pass it forward” and make the world a gentler, kinder place.
Please explore our website to learn more, and “Pass It Forward!” If you are a school or nonprofit organization and would like more information please send your inquiry to aunitedworld@gmail.com.
All people interested in creating and organizing your own Pass It Forward program please contact arlan@wetheworld.org.
