ACCOMPLISHMENTS: (highlights)

We made over 300 Congressional office visits and mobilized our supporters to write well over 7,000 letters advocating for the Department of Peace and/or Youth PROMISE Act (YPA).  

Working in partnership with YPA lead sponsor, Congressman Bobby Scott of VA, we helped build significant congressional co-sponsorships in the House -- starting with 70 when we began in May up to 232 today!

Hosted a National Conference in March 2009 attended by over 450 people, including 200 youth, with presentations by over 30 experts and practitioners. 

Developed a comprehensive 2009-2011 Strategic Organizational Plan in collaboration with Board, grassroots, and Student Peace Alliance representatives. Read new overview...   

Raised over half a million dollars to fund our work.  

DoPeace: Launched a volunteer driven social networking site. Visit!   

The power of every single voice: We had thousands of conversations about the profound potential and need for peacebuilding, conversations that deepened the collective understanding about what it will take to create a more peaceful world. Most importantly, they add to the political will to make it an investment reality.

 Every nonprofit (1.5 million) will have their own Pass It Forward Program!
 
Our Mission:  We, The World is in the process of arranging from corporate sponsors a $100 Million Dollar Grant for (not from) our government for online community service.  If there is 1.1 Billion Dollars going towards community service, WTW will offer an additional $100 Million for online community service.  Under the following scenario, our government will help 1.5 million nonprofit organizations raise more money for their cause by placing a PIF link on the nonprofits website.  Every nonprofit will set up their own amounts, and 10% of the money raised to promote inner peace and mentoring will go back to our government.

When you donate to the Pass It Forward Movement 90% of your donation can be sent back to you, a specific person or an organization in the form of a grant.  You may apply for a grant and be approved prior to donating.  See Fiscal Partnership Info.
 
When you are approved your program will then be a We, The World nonprofit 501(c) (3) Pass It Forward Program.
