HandsOn Network, generated by Points of Light Institute and The Walt Disney Company proudly present Family Volunteer Day. This annual day of service, held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, is designed to demonstrate the power of families who choose to volunteer together to support the communities in which they live and serve. Volunteering as a family provides quality time for busy families, strengthens communication and bonds and positively impacts local communities across the nation.

Description: The Pass It Forward Movement is looking for volunteers that want to make a difference. Our volunteer mentors will help you create the perfect volunteer opportunity for yourself based upon your purpose and your passion.

We are looking for Pass It Forward classroom directors, school directors, neighborhood directors, district directors, city directors and state directors. Our goal is to give every student an opportunity to be a mentor and to have a mentor. We have all of the tools and activities available to make that possible.

If you really don't know what your purpose is, we will help you find it. Everyone has a gift - What's yours?

Youth as young as 8 can volunteer with parental supervision.
