Travel agents are learning how by passingm forward a portion of their commission to a selected Charity or non-profit can help CLOSE THEv DEAL! Hosting a Pass It Forward Event for the neighbors is a great way to start giving to various charities!
This program is designed to encourage friends to refer potential travelers and travel agents. The Charity can be selected by the agent, traveler, or perhaps the friend that referred. The amount of the donation will vary, depending on how the agent has set up their particular PIF program. ( a tax receipt will be received by the parties involved.)
Travel agents are encouraged to participate in local events that serve the area, to knock on all doors at least once a quarter, and get to know all those neighbors on a first-name basis. The PIF Neighbors Program is a perfect fit for this as it adds the element of caring and giving back to the community. Earning the reputation as a trusted, caring, and giving agent is what a good travel agent needs to do, as he/she strives to be known as their travel agent of choice that PIFs.
One way to show appreciation for being selected as the PIF Travel Agent is for the agent to Pass It Forward to a charity of either the broker, seller, or even the buyer.
This is a wonderful marketing tool and a win-win situation for everyone involved in the transaction, and especially for all the charities.
