Neighborhood Community Service Ambassador
There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
The Pass it Forward (PIF) Movement helped me learn my purpose, organize my passion, volunteer my gift and engage my heart. After 30 minutes online with my online mentor(www.30minutementor.org), I am now able to help others and L.O.V.E. it Forward too. There is no charge for my services as I am a volunteer mentor representing the PIF Movement. Together we can make a difference!
In order for me to go to get into a good college, I will need to do a minimum of 15 hours of community service. I researched online and came across a L.O.V.E. It Forward Community Service program which is part of the Pass It Forward Movement. Based upon my purpose, passion and gift which I recently learned about from my online mentor, I decided to do my online service promoting "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" & Passing It Forward.
The first thing I did, after I received a free PIF web page from my PIF Mentor was create my own free website on Neighborhood Link. I am now the Neighborhood Community Service Ambassador of my zip code. For creating a free web page to promote the PIF Movement, I received 1/2 hour online credit. Now, every online discussion that I participate in (promoting PIF) anywhere on the web, I actually receive community service credit as long as I send copies to aunitedworld@gmail.com.
Every person that has created their own PIF program may highlight their program on this website just like I have. Now you too can create your own PIF program based upon your "gift" or a specific "Pass it Forward Moment that happened in your past." The Pass It Forward Movement embraces all religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of this movement.
PIF and I are now networking with people and organizations that also want to do what is right & help others. Additionally PIF gave me the opportunity to be a mentor myself, and now I also have online mentors to help me achieve my goals. For more information go to www.30minutementor.org.
