There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
Todd Bedagi is taking to the streets with a homemade sign in an attempt drum up real estate business and pass it forward.
Todd Bedegi, out on the corner, holding a sign that reads, “Experienced Realtor Starving for Buyers, will work for food.” Sure, he’s looking for business — after eight years in real estate, he’s now found himself struggling to attract new clients — but he’s also pledged to donate 10 percent of all commissions earned from this corner plea to the Idaho Food Bank. That’s a place, by the way, that needs help from Bedegi, and anyone else who can give.
In the last six months alone, demand for services have increased nearly 30 percent, according to Food Bank staffers. To feed his family Todd says he will work for food. But -- he's not keeping all the profits. He says it's passing it forward -- at a time when everyone needs a little help.
I am helping one person at a time to create their own Pass It Forward Real estate Program and present it to We, The World (WTW). If their program is approved by WTW as a WTW - 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Program, they will give you back 90% of your donation to WTW in the form of a grant to the Director of that new Pass It Forward Program. Every WTW volunteer will be able to highlight their program on the A United World Website www.aunitedworld.org/sample.asp and recieve donations for their cause on their web page. There is no charge for our services as we I am a volunteer for We, The World helping raise money for schools and nonprofit organizations.
The “ The Pass it Forward Movement” embraces all creeds, religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of the movement.
Every entity, non-profit, business, school, organization, and individual can be part of this movement. Together, we can all unite and collaborate as just one voice to “pass it forward” and make the world a gentler, kinder place.
Anyone involved in the Pass It Forward Movement must abide by our Code of Ethics
WTW will help other real estate agents create their own Pass it Forward Real Estate Program (for free). WTW actually operates on 9% rather than 10% because they will give approximately 1% to a mentor that helped another real estate agent (mentee) create their own Pass It Forward program. Basically, once your program is approved by WTW you would be their mentor and they would be your mentee. Eventually, after they are approved by We, The World they will become a mentor and be able to mentor others.
Example: Currently on the market is 1508 El Cerrito Drive in Thousand Oaks, California 91362. The owner of this property is offering $40,000 to the buyers favorite charity as this is his way of Passing It Forward and being a part of the Pass It Forward Movement. Or, if a nonprofit organization brings the seller a buyer, the seller will give the $40,000 to the referring charity.
