Volunteer Helps Other Volunteers Pass It Forward
Help Others Network Online & Accomplish Their Goals
with Character And Compassion
There’s a movement gaining momentum everyday and it’s global! It’s about mentoring, inspiring, and empowering one another to realize we can all make a positive difference; simply by passing on kind acts and good deeds.
Shirley Tang is a dedicated volunteer who has already participated in volunteer work for over twelve years. However, she found out she had breast cancer five years ago and she went through numerous treatments in the meantime. Now that she is fully recovered, her enthusiasm in volunteer service even grows stronger and stronger. She described that she was given another chance of live and she could not be more grateful for that.
Shirley thinks volunteering is something that can give her great satisfaction and joy, hence it is so worthwhile for her to sacrifice much of her spare time to help other people. She works at a volunteer center in Hong Kong to help potential volunteers to look for volunteering opportunities. She is also responsible for organizing volunteer groups to pay regular visits to the senior center, the homeless shelter, the fund-raising charity events, just to name a few.
Every volunteer that hels other volunteers perform acts of kindness may highlight it on this website too. Now you too can create your own PIF program based upon your "gift" or a specific "Pass it Forward Moment that happened in your past." For more information, go to www.aunitedworld.org.
The Pass It Forward Movement embraces all religions, and political beliefs. If it doesn’t appeal to 100% of the population then it is not part of this movement.
