Your School Mate

YourSchoolMate.com provides online web applications to help schools and other youth-oriented groups with fundraising and team collaboration. YourSchoolMate has donated design and software development services to the Pass it On Student Mentoring Program.

ABC Inc. - Corporate Sponsor

The generous contribution of ABC Inc. has enabled students of
Jackson High School to pass it on through their generosity. 75% of ABC’s contribution will go directly to East High School, and 25% will go toward expenses for the Pass It On Student Mentoring Program.

East High School - Participating School

As a public high school in Some City NY, East High is one of the Pass It On Student Mentoring program’s strongest supporters. Several mentors from East High provide mentoring to younger students at
East High School.

Outstanding Mentor – Jennifer Woods

The purpose of the Pass It On Student Mentoring program is to empower children by helping them to realize that they can make a positive difference in other's lives. Jennifer Woods is a mentor in this program where students are able to help younger schoolmates with academics, extra-curricular activities and many of the other challenges facing young people today.

Jennifer, a sixteen year old at
East High School, is a mentor to Alicia, a fourteen year old freshman who just started attending East High. Jennifer and Alicia have also become close friends as they play the Mentoring Connection game which helps in communication and building self confidence.  Additionally, the sessions include mathematics and science studies using a computer and learning software provided by ABC Inc. specifically for this mentoring program.
